Awkwafina

Awkwafina, an American actor and singer, began with a series of ribbing quips about the racial and sexual identities of people. After which she moved into Hollywood her music, she came out with a series of rap tracks. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her initial music experience. She was a trumpet player. Then, she started studying classical music and hip hop. While in college, she remained focused in her studies, pursuing a degree in women's journalism and the arts. For a brief period that was spent in Beijing as well, she was also studying Mandarin. However, it wasn't until she graduated that she turned her attention to music. Her hit song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity across the Internet in 2012. It eventually made it in the album debut Yellow Ranger released in 2014. Some other hits that went viral included Queef track, and the witty NYC Bitchethe hometown tour for $. It was also included as part of Awkwafina's NYC tour guide that was released in the year 2015. A musician and an author were on her resume she determined to pursue the role of a third-party actor. She has appeared in films such as Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. In 2018 she landed breakthrough parts in several high-profile films like Dude Ocean's 8.8 and Crazy Rich Asians. Then in June she launched the EP in Fina We Trust.
